Charge point grants

The government continues to provide grants towards the installation of a dedicated charge point at home. The Electric Vehicle Homecharge Scheme provides up to 75% of the installation cost of a charge point, up to a maximum of £350, but is now only available to homeowners who live in flats, or individuals who live in rented accommodation.

Grants of up to £350 are available for each workplace charging unit, up to a maximum of 40 per organisation.

Until April 2025 a 100% first year allowance is available to businesses for expenditure incurred on electric charge point equipment.
